Fossil fuels have been the worlds main source of energy over the past century, but with the increasing demand from both established economies and rapidly developing new economies, the world's attention is quickly shifting to renewable energy sources. As a partner of Schneider Electric, FIT Optimized Solutions has access to a wide array of renewable energy technology and renewable energy expertise. With Pennsylvania's requirements to reduce the load on the power grid (Act 129 below), electric energy suppliers serving the state are offering rebate incentives to promote renewable energy and energy efficiency. FIT can analyze your facility's current energy useage and available financial incentives to determine if renewable technology is a viable option for you.
PA Act 129 of 2008
Pennsylvania has encouraged reductions in electric useage by requiring the electric suppliers serving the state to reduce consumption and demand on the power grid by 3% by May 2013, with provisions to set new goals after this date. Part of the required reduction must be derived from renewable energy sources. Pennsylvania's electric suppliers are providing financial incentives to their customers when reductions are made through renewable energy and energy efficiency projects. FIT has experience in obtaining these available financial incentives, and can be your partner as you work through the process.
